X4: Foundations Addresses Bugs with Hotfix Update
On September 24, 2025, X4: Foundations released a hotfix to address several issues identified since the Diplomacy Update. This update enhances gameplay stability and fixes various bugs that players have encountered.
The fixes include:
- Improved response of attacking ships to objects disappearing from gravidar
- Enhanced Diplomacy Agent ship assignment menu when no suitable ships are available
- Corrected guidance during the Escort to Safe Haven mission if the player docks before the Envoy ship
- Resolved issues with Brend Sobert's space suit not docking at Envoy
- Fixed a bug where Dal's gifted diplomacy ship sometimes lacks a pilot
- Addressed agent diplomacy features not activating when Player Headquarters are in Leap of Faith
- Solved issues with hirable agents not spawning on stations despite guidance
- Fixed rare circumstances preventing assignment of ships to agents
- Corrected faction diplomats not displaying LiveStream
- Resolved attack subordinates not firing when following their commander into combat against surface elements
- Fixed specific cases where undocking ships wait indefinitely for clearance despite already being undocked
- Addressed characters warping instantly on certain Teladi bridges
- Solved missing elements on the Diplomacy menu under certain conditions
- Fixed Assign Builder Map menu mode issues
- Corrected minor localization problems with faction diplomats
- Resolved Betty not acknowledging when players assume cover
- Fixed several pronunciation issues in voiced lines
