Pixel Starships 2 Announces Major Update with New Features and Improvements
October 06, 2025 - The highly anticipated update for Pixel Starships 2 is just around the corner, bringing a host of exciting new features and improvements to the game. Players can look forward to an enhanced experience with the upcoming release of version v0.8.5.
The November update will introduce several groundbreaking systems, including the debut of Planet Exploration, which allows players to venture beyond their starships and explore new worlds. Additionally, AI Editing Improvements will provide clearer combat scripting, making battles more dynamic and engaging. Mini-Boss Battles are also set to arrive, challenging players to test their tactical skills against formidable foes.
December plans include the return of Floating Bux, a fan-favorite feature, as well as the introduction of Ground Battle systems, offering new ways to engage in combat. Players will also get a glimpse of a brand-new Starship Level, expanding their fleet capabilities even further.
Beyond these features, Pixel Starships 2 is introducing a comprehensive Badge System for achievements and progression, allowing players to showcase their accomplishments. Fleet Capacity has been increased, enabling deeper alliance gameplay. The game also boasts Expanded Crew Weapons and combat variety, providing more options for strategic play.
