Ostranauts Receives Critical Update to Enhance Gameplay and Fix Issues

September 18, 2025 - Ostranauts, the intense noir space-sim game where every decision carries consequences, has released a significant update. The v0.14.5.6 hotfix addresses issues stemming from the recent 'Inventory Overhaul' and introduces quality-of-life improvements for players.

Players can now enjoy enhanced functionality with the PDA Vizor presets retaining individual user settings per-preset. Additionally, lighting and FoV controls are now independent, offering greater customization. Other notable fixes include resolving issues with large sub-floor items near ship edges causing tilemap breaks, duplicate rooms, or zone errors upon loading.
