Hackmud Season 0 Concludes with Exciting Achievements and New Features
October 02, 2025 - Hackmud, the retro cyberpunk RPG that lets you play as a digital persona in an abandoned internet filled with chaos, unpredictability, and a touch of goofiness, has just concluded its Season 0. This season marked the first collaborative recruiting and training cycle, rewarding contributing player corporations with valuable prizes.
Season 0 ended with a thrilling 4xp event, enabling players to overclock their contributions and maximize their rewards. Key achievements during this season include reaching 10% on corps.share, unlocking asset_class 0 and 1, and the release of sweet k3ys featuring impossible-rarity combos and alch-able features. The game also saw approximately 1,250 unique logins, with significant activity both before and during the 4xp window.
Interestingly, about 3,000,000 bits remained unrealized, offering players a chance to convert them into valuable assets upon their return. The kiddie_pool experienced chaos due to spamming incidents, leading to a truce among players and the introduction of a bounty system to identify the culprits.
