Dune: Awakening Launches with Community Items and New Features
September 22, 2025 - Today, Dune: Awakening, an Open World Survival RPG set in the epic universe of Dune, officially launches. Players are invited to immerse themselves in the vast deserts of Arrakis, where they can survive treacherous sandworms, construct their homes, craft ornithopters, and uncover the mystery behind the missing Fremen.
To celebrate this launch, we're thrilled to announce an array of new community items and features designed to enhance your experience within the Dune universe:
- Customizable Steam Profiles:_decorate your profile with emoticons, backgrounds, avatars, and frames inspired by Dune.
- New Trading Cards for Crafting Badges: collect trading cards to craft badges that showcase your achievements on your Steam profile.
- Upgradeable Badges: customize and upgrade your badges to display your status as a Fremen or another House of Dune.
- Random Rewards: when crafting or upgrading badges, you may receive random rewards including emoticons and backgrounds.
- Steam Points Shop Access: unlock animated frames, avatars, and additional backgrounds using Steam Points.
- House Allegiance Display: show off your loyalty to a specific House or specialty within the Dune universe.
